Hope everyone is okay..so can you please give me some techniques to remove unwanted hair on baby? My baby has hair on the back, arms and forehead. I know this is laguna hair which is supposedly suppose to fall off by itself, however my eldest had this and everyone told me that it would just naturally fall off, but years on, and he still has it.
Some Hindu people have certain techniques which they do on a daily basis for hair removal on newborns, and they are now hair free.
So have you guys tried anything on your bubbas, and if so, what did you guys do and how?
I hvnt information abut it really. but i hv also searched abut it. and from indian website i hv gathered 2 tips. that i am gonna share. both r sound good and harmless to me. but just u hv to patience to see the result.
1: Hairs on baby 's body:
i knw of a lady who does daily 'til'oil(sesame seed), and, her baby is hairless!! he even has a wonderful glow, and the colour tone of his body(though wheat-ish colour) is so smooth.
...we use Channa (Besan) flour, turmeric, yogurt paste to give shower to the babies to remove hair.
2:In India, women use turmeric to remove unwanted hair and some claim it can permanently inhibit hair growth. To try this remedy and judge the effectiveness for yourself, mix ½ cup of turmeric with enough milk to make a thick paste. Spread this on your legs in the direction of hair growth and let it dry. Using your hand or a dry washcloth, scrub your legs in a circular motion, removing the paste and hair along with it. Repeat the treatment every few days or as you see hair growth. After using this remedy for a few months you may notice the hair is finer and takes longer to grow back.
You can feel safe using this method of hair removal since it has been used on babies in India for centuries. Some babies are born with excess hair all over their bodies. For aesthetic and cleanliness reasons, some mothers want to remove this hair. They begin rubbing turmeric on the baby's skin as early as a month old. After a couple of months, the baby may be practically hairless.
Another way to mix the paste is to add the turmeric powder to plain, unsweetened yogurt. The acidity of the yogurt may be beneficial for skin. If you add a little flour to the paste, it dries the oil into your skin to help with the removal process.
we didnt do anything to our baby, she's still got some fuzz behind her shoulders. and her favorite bedtime book is "goodnight gorilla (aka goonite goiyya)". coincidence? i think not.

Will deffo be trying that inshallah and see how I go. I've also been reading stuff and I came across a method called loi/loyee. This involves using regular atta, made into a ball and rubbing on baby after oil massage.
The loi method does not work
One of my cousin's daughter has more hair and she tried all different methods including that aata method.
I think with any of these methods, the light hair 'rooaan' may go away temporaily but I dont know how you can completely remove/destroy the hair follicle using any of these methods.
I heard that when I was a baby, they would mix mustard oil with besan then rub it on my legs.
Personally, I think that using loi/or any other scrubbing method is a bit harsh for a baby's skin. usually hair falls off, and when we grow up, we do wax and shave etc.. anyways. So don't worry about it I think.

my cousin dadi has done and hairs really removed.
some baby hve facial hair also. and baby ki massage bhi hoti hai its gud 4 baby. so u try the tips that u can do easily. i hope u really get ur results.
and i believe if u 70-80% result that was gud.
Sorry but I have never heard anything so ridiculous. Why would anyone in their right mind want to subject their babies to unecessary hair removal? Leave them alone! The hair will fall out in due course when the time is right.
My son was a right monkey when he was born, did I panic? No I didn't!
I think this ancient besun atta massage is a load of mumbo jumbo, sorry thats my opinion.
