I think a person should not get passionate or get easily excited about anything.
a person should talk in a low and civilized voice. people should talk with a smile.

Let the other person hear what he wants to hear.
Never get into arguments or altercations with other peoples.
Everyone must respect all cultures and religions as equals. Just say there are other opinions.
Never talk about controversial subjects openly.
Like politics for example. A 28 year old should have the maturity of a 50 year old man.
You should teach your children to be tolerate, and moderate in their views and try to be friends will everyone.
