How to prepare for GIK entry test?

GIKI is one of top engineering institute of Pakistan.
I really wish to get into this institute but there is a great problem for me.
Some people say it is FSc based test but others say it is SAT based.
Some say it is too easy others say it is too difficult.
plz help me

You know the websites of universities do not provide good information related to entrance exaMINATIONS
THE BEST WAY FOR PREPARING THEM IS TO DISCUSS WITH THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY TAKEN THOSE TESTS
They can better tell you the experience they gained and the pitfalls that came across thier way.They can guide you more than anyone at university admission office.
for example
UET Sample Paper contained very easy & simple questions but the actual test was a very conceptual one
SIMILARLY
GIK Sample Paper (available at their site) is a simple paper based on FSc simplest questions but the actual test can never be similar & of the same difficulty level.
SO MY ADVICE IS
"never trust sample papers"
DO PROPER RESEARCH YOURSELF

Nice, whats problem then. Johar Town Shauq Chowk have KIPS branch.Its because its Lahore top most preparatory school not all medic,engineering,CSS,accounting schools etc etc.Success rate is amazing as well. Almost all toppers prepare from KIPS. Some other are also but in my humble opinion KIPS is best and near your home.

Its because NUST and GIKI test not FSc oriented unlike Taxila/Punjab/UET/Multan/Faisalabad etc .GIKI/NUSt tests are more 'smart' in a sense , they check IQ,knowledge,efficiency,common sense and intelligence.Surely, all these tactics handling,time management,past papers,scenario,typical questions ,practice,paper format,daily practice and tests and checking will make you get into GIKI and in the Lahore no one guide you all these things better than KIPS. At home , i am not sure you will get all these things

matter whether they passed or failed the test) will be welcomed & highly appreciated.

I live nearby.I dont think you will find any GIKIAN here. If you really want to get insight into GIK,its test,preparation,just switch to Orkut , where GIKI community consists about 2800 GIKIANs. If you will post your questions about test,preparation and paper format questions, you would get very good and massive response as they all are students of that university plus GS is more a social netwroking forum and Pakistani students are most active on Orkut . Post a question in the community also copy paste it to 15/20 members of this community individually, they will surely reply you and you will get very informative and useful responses from them. Not only about GIKI, any university/college information, Orkut is a good place

I found this website http://pakprep.com very useful for giki entry test preparation. The questions are of good quality as per the giki entry tests standards. All questions are arranged topic and difficulty wise which makes preparation organized. Also it has mock tests for giki … the best thing ever for test preparation.
