how to politely tell off aunties

I have noticed this curiosity amongst aunties where they just want to know and they will pinch you to spill out the beans.

so how would you politely refuse them from sharing any piece of info.

Re: how to politely tell off aunties

Three options.
1. Pinch them to spill their beans , they are older and have more skeletons in their closets.
2. Say habla no Urdu/English/Arabic whatever language they are using to ask you.
3. Play dumb and pretend to not understand the question.
There is fourth option too , run away.

pinch, yikes! i always get the ‘friendly’ slaps on the back.. some aunty’s are very powerful i must say.

well try to laugh it off or if you have water near by take a sip and pretend to choke… or ask the aunty about her children especially her bahu :chai:

Deflect their attentions onto the nearest sister :D

You tell them to speak to me.

Re: how to politely tell off aunties

hmm yea it's a common prob really, recently I went to a Nikah and there an aunty came and started asking about my family, I answered few of her questions then I got extremely fed up and pretended that someone is calling me, I said "excuse me" I think my daughter is crying. I didnt even wait for her 'Approval' and simply left that place.

Re: how to politely tell off aunties

you should never piss off a girl whos transitioning into aunty.its worse than a women whos pmsing.

Re: how to politely tell off aunties

Just smile at them and say 'don't know' to all of their questions. Then swiftly move away. Or you could just turn the question back round to them.
