Guys I need some quick help. We’ve a match coming up and this team has a very good leg spinner. He has been taking lots of wickets lately. I need to know some tips on how to play genuine leg spin, something like Shane Warne’s style. The only good news is that this guy doesn’t have the flipper up his sleeves.
You have no chance. You are doomed. Might as well feign illness, skip the match and save yourself a lot of embarassment.
If the above sounds too unpalatable, then just whack the friggin' ball over the boundary by making it a full toss. Either the ball will be flying or your "killian". Thats cricket for you. :)

Here is what i've been doing successfully against a fearsome SIKH leggie. All the deliveries and angles could be divided into three categories:
SHORT: Go back and CUT or PULL
Good Length: Pad forward and block
Pitched up: Yell out "JIYAY AFRIDI", hope out of the crease, and either drive flat or in the air.
Completely depends on what he targets to get those scalps.
If he places a silly point etc., it's prolly just a ploy and you'll notice he'll stray down leg even more if he has one.
Sweeping is effective if he's consistently pitching leg and outside, but try to play it fine and along the ground. Coz he'll be bringing his fine leg up to entice you to clear him over his head if ur recognized as an agressive batsman by the opposition.
Anything pitched halfway down on the middle and off line is guaranted runs. Hop down and slice or lift according to the field.
Short on legside can be pulled to the midwicket region safely but don't put too much swing into it as it'll slowly move away in the air towards square leg/fine leg even though you've hit it to midwicket. If you conisder urself a good puller put in some extra swing when you swivel on that pivot foot on short balls pitching leg and turning away, so the ball will clear fine leg moving further away and no fielder down the legside will get to that, no matter how fine he's placed.

Pretty good technique, but on the pith the situation could be completely different. So my advice is that if things get ugly, just pad away his over by stepping forward and out of the crease. And wait for the other bowlers to come on.
if it'z short ball wait 4 eht ball then smash it to eht boundry n if ball komez az yorker stop eht ball n try to take single don't try to hit six on yorker datz my personal opinion
