Hubby and I moved into a new city as soon as we got married. Neither us of knew anyone here at all. I would suggest that the best place to meet people is masjid! Go their on fridays ..maybe the main mosque of the city or something. We have been here for 2 years now and I would credit the masjid for all the wonderful people i have met so far.

If you don't mind me asking where do you live? I'm not actually in your position but I am open to meeting "couple friends" as well. I'm married with 2 little kids.
