How to manage?

I have been thinking about it lately. The economy is so bad, how do most of the people manage paying for their health insurances. I just move to NJ from GA after getting married. The cost of living is so high in New Jersey as compared to georgia. We are a struggling couple as of now. I need to go see doctor. I am having bad acne cuz of stress and I want to go to gyn too. But cant since I have no insurance and without insurance you know how it is. I applied for medicade bt it was so hard to first apply for it online and then my husband was making a little more than what their max was. Now he is unemployed. I want to apply for madicade again but cant really find sources.

I also heard thr is some medical center in Jersey City who has charity fund for those who cant afford medical expenses. I have seen a very well settled family using those funds for their child too. But im not sure what medical center is it in Jersey City. Im asking all this info here cuz Im hoping for some advice from you guys. I dunt know any one in New Jersey. Please Advice.

Locate grants and state assistance in all New Jersey counties and cities, including Newark and Jersey City. In addition to the state run assistance programs you will find below, you can also locate organizations and charities in New Jersey that can provide you with help paying bills.

Re: How to manage?

move to Canada...we have free health care....God Bless Canada for that at least!!!

Sorry, I cant be of any help, as I dont live in the states....sorry you are in a tough situation. but I thought there was some sort of program for people who cant afford health care. Also, why dont you try doing the same process you used before for medicade, cause this time your husbands income will be lower than before.

Apply again for medicaid in NJ.

Re: How to manage?

Most NJ hospitals have **applications for charity care **that cover everything from doc visits to surgery. Also inquire about free clinics that hospitals and counties and townships run.
