ok, so i’ve been doing a little messing around with my blog setting and now want to delete an entry, i selected the entry to delete and clicked the delete button and i get message saying i don’t have permission to do so, why the heck not?

you can only "soft" delete. it means that only you can see the entry, no one else can.
is it possible to keep my blog public, but assign one entry to be private?
thats not possible as of now. Maybe in future as this is one of the most requested option/feature for blogs.
