How to make Macromedia Flash Presentations?

Hey all,

I have been using Microsoft Powerpoint for quite sometime now, and being a business major, all you ever have to do is presentations. :frowning:

Therefore I am really interested in learning the tricks and trades of Macromedia Flash. All the time at uni. you see presentations from people using powerpoint, and well… it kinda gets boring!

Could some of you please guide me on any beginners websites on how to make a flash presentation? (im not looking to make a website)
Maybe if you have some ebooks, template software creators, etc..

Thankyou very much for your help.

And I got Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Pro.

for starters try using a easier version known as swish…based on flash. no need to learn any scripting.

In Flash MX 2004 Pro, you should use built-in 'Slides' screns to create presentations. You may not need to do lots of coding, but will have to undertand how the 'Slide' screensfunction and parent mx.Screen class.

There are some very good tutorials, and few templates which can be downloaded on the Macromedia website. Once you understand the navigation flow(described and shown) in those templates, you can make some very engaging presentations. I hope this helps :)
