What do you want to do, exactly? If you are just trying to create a couple of HTML files you can just use MS Word or some other free website editing. Check the following link:
Scroll down to free WYSIWYG editors, pick one, download and install it. You’d be all set.

Obviously, you have to be more specific. Is it a blog you want to start, store, info site, community?

w3schools has everything for the basics of creating a body, title, and a block of text. to some of the most advanced web technologies you might ever use. You need to put in some effort it is ALL their.
