I was always fond of German engineering. They truely have taken the line production to new hieghts. Amazed at the quality control that they measure even the thichness of paint in microns.
Now I can truely appreciate the value of BMW cars against the prices.

The paint process might look like just another spray painting randomly. In reality what happens is that the car is given a charge (positive or negative) and the paint particles are charged with an opposite charge. The negatively charged paint particle gets attracted to an unpainted positively charged part of the body. That way every particle falls only on an unpainted part of the car hence greatly reducing overlapping.

I got that part because most of the manufacturers use this thechnique, I was refereing to the using ultrasonic gauge to acertain the thickness of the paint. Anyway job well done.
