and islamically: best exercise would be to read namaz as the prophet said that the best form of exercise is five times namaaz, in which it involves the movement of all body parts.
The best way to lose fat in a HEALTHY manner is to healthy foods(veggies, meat(white meat is best), fruits etc) and to EXCERSICE. Thi is the main key to lose weight and be healthy. High-intesnity cardio excierices work best work for losing fat. This includes jogging/running etc. If you are not used to jogging or running alot. Start off by walking briskly for say half an hour to an ahour, and then as you body gains more tolerance towards excersice, start doing light jogging and then progresively move to regular jogging/running. Long-distance jogging is probably the best(after gainign tolerance, say running 1mile-2miles a day). Long-distance cardio excercies also strengthen your heart so your heart doesnt beat as fast, and pumps the same amount fo blood it does in a minute in far fewer pumps of the heart.
The only way increase your metabloism in a healthy manner is to gain muscle. Thing is, after you eat, the body puts the extra sugars from food into your muscles. humans have to maintain a certain level of blood sugar in our bodies, if it is too low it causes lethargy/weakness etc, if it is to high, it also causes problem. So after you eat, the extra sugars gets stored in your muscles. Now when your muscles are so to say'filled up' with these sugars, the body looks other places to store it, and thats how fat is formed. The more muscle you have, the more mass your body has to store these sugars in without it becoming fat.
Also you cant reduce fat from a specific spot. For example there are NO excerscies to remove excess fat from one area(lets say your stomach area). When the body loses fat, it loses in equally. Ofcourse there are diferences in men and women. Men store most of there fat in the stomach area, while women in hips/thighs etc. SO best way to trule lose fat is doing cardio excerisces with a mix of muscle building excersices and eating healthy.
Foods that are in high in anti-oxdidants(such as tomatoes, green-leafy vegetables etc), high in protein(milk, fish, chicken, soy beans) and other vitamins are the best. You should avoid foods with to much carbs(as carbs are the first thign your body converts into sugar, not fat contrary to popular belief), such as potatoes, bananas, rice etc. Wheat products are also good(piiteeri nan's etc), also oats, barley, etc.
Also try balancing out your meal into 6-small meals rather then 3 big ones. Because after eating one huge meal, the body is overloaded with these sugars and tries to find places to put them fast, so when you eat 6 smaller meals, the body isnt as 'overloaded'. Excersiing BEFORE eating helps as it creates more space in your body to store these sugars without them becoming fat.
in all a balance good foods, and cardio exericises are the best solution for weight loss. NEVER take diet pills etc, as they cause more harm then good. LLosing weight naturaly i sthe best way.
drinking too much water isnt advisable because water contaisn sodium, and too much of it causes sodium imbalance. sodium also causes water retention, which isnt good. But offcourse staying hydrated is necesary. Also, i guess you can chew gum to keep you not hungry
Make a habit of waking up early every day (force yourself), weather its a weekday or weekend. Get up at 8 am atleast and try to stay up all day. You will be falling asleep by 11 pm. Also do not do any streneous (sp?) activities for atleast 2-3 hours before going to sleep. You cannot come home from a wedding or a party or something and go to bed immediately. Our bodies need time to cool down before they start recharging properly. Same goes for food, do not eat any heavy foods for 2-3 hours prior to going to bed.
Dark circles.. umm.. eat right exercise right and sleep well and dark circles will go away too. :)
i dunno what you mean by too much water...but personally ive found drinking atleast 2 litres or more everyday keeps me feeling great. chewing gum masks thirst and if u chew gum all day u can pretty much not feel thirsty at all the whole day! which is not good.
really? I chew gum all th time, and i have regular thirst.
Either way, excersising regularly is truly the best key to not only losing weight, but also maintaining health.
^^ agreed. im strongly against fad diets. there is no such thing as shortcuts when it comes to losing weight. it comes through a good lifestyle and not a few months of crash dieting or starving.
