I don’t even know if my lips have always been dark or they just got darker few years back but it’s definitely much more noticeable now. My top lip is dark and my bottom lip is pink with a dark outline. My lips look soooo weird. Please tell me some easy way to make them pink and EVEN. I hate how they’re of two colours. Also tell me how long will any lightening process take because I am a very baysabar larki and get bored of any home remedy in just a few days lol.

In a small container, mix lemon juice, raw honey, and brown sugar. Use this as a scrub for your lips. In another container, create a mixture of lemon juice, vegetable glycerin, and evening primrose oil. Using a brush (like a spare makeup brush), apply this mixture to your lips several times a day. I found drinking water....like really hydrating yourself....helps; it made a difference for me. Do not lick or bite your lips. I also think it's better to avoid using lipsticks...especially matte ones...often. At the end of the day.....even if they contain a bit of moisturization....they are still heavily pigmented chemicals. Opt for something lighter like Burts Bees lip tints or Fresh Sugar lip tints. Apply chapstick containing sunblock. Get iron and vitamins. Just give it time.

Are you pregnant, or did u had a baby lately?? Coz that's really normal to happen when you are pregnant.
Why this happens more often in the pregnancy is because the hormones are changing to adapt to the baby, as well as during the after-birth/breastfeeding.
Also if that's not your case, you can consider going to a endocrinologist (glandular specialist) or your family doc do have a check up done, and make sure everything is alright with your health.

lol I'm unmarried. And I guess that's how my lips have always been, like yesterday I was looking at my childhood photos and I noticed my lips are like I'm wearing lip liner. I guess nothing will work sigh

I don't know about how to lighten them fast, but you need to wear lip balm with SPF whenever you go out in the sun. We tend to use sunscreen on our face but we forget about our lips. I use Jack Black lip balm with SPF 25 in the blackberry + black tea flavor. I got it from Sephora and even though it is pricey, I think it's worth it because I have to use a teeny tiny little speck for my entire lip, so it's going to last forever (as long as I don't lose it). Also, since the brand is catered to men, the balm absorbs into the lips and doesn't sit on top like a glossy feel.
Aaaaand finally, my lips have gotten a bit lighter and closer to my childhood lip color :)

Sweetmano, We can't predict what the results for your lips will be. Do a search on youtube and you'll find recipes for lip lightening treatments....some by Black women...and their lips don't look two toned to me. Just puck a treatment that sounds right to you and start following it for a few months. Won't know the outcome unless you start. Or consult a dermatologist.

i use it all the time. when i wear it before bedtime, by morning my lips are pink and really well and hydrated

Okayyy well I am disappointed. The thing is lemon made my top lip swelled, like my lips are really plumper than before and therefore it's showing the pink colour of the inner part of my lips, and I thought it's lightening my lips from inside to outside :( I have tried every home remedy like glycerine, vaseline, turmeric, honey, using tooth brush but nothing really works :( sigh
Has anyone tried apple cider vinegar on their lips?
