Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
***I’ve heard about Castor Oil too…haven’t tried it !
I’d love to hear from anyone who has …![]()
I’ve also heard the snipping the eyelashes just a wee bit makes them grow longer…i’m tempted to try that but afraid too do it !***
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
People say that oil/vaseline helps them grow their eyelashes. There's a slight truth to that.......but I don't know if it makes a huge difference. The reason why oil is said to help eyelashes grow longer is because it lubricates the eyelashes........so that they're less prone to breaking. Similar to applying oil to the hair on the scalp.
I've heard that olive oil is helpful for eyelashes as well. I would be wary of trying castor oil because it's soooo thick. I would take the mascara wand of an old or empty mascar bottle that you're not going to need. Wash the mascara wand so that it's completely clean. Apply the oil to the wand.......and then use the wand to apply the oil to the lashes before going to bed. Don't apply to much as it will sting the eyes. Make sure that the wand is clean everytime you use it so you don't risk infection.
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
i have tried castor oil and it really does help alot
also when i was applying vitamin E capsules on my eyes for dark circles i noticed my lashes grew longer :) so it helps too i guess ;)
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
must go and buy castor oil!
Castor oil really works, olive oil does too..
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
How often per day and for how long do u need to use it before u see results ?
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
Rapid Lash has gr8 reviews n gives amazing resulta in little time. its expensive though. Lumigaan is good too n cheaper but Castor oil no doubt the cheapest. just needs more patience
^ Yeah Latisse/Lumigan defo works. Lumigan is exactly the same as Latisse but in a little eyedrop bottle without any applicator or anything. Shocking that the cosmetic version in the nice packaging costs sooooo much more. I have a couple of bottles spare if anyone wants to try it.. I bought it then decided I couldn't be bothered to wait 3 months for results and ended up getting lash extensions instead..
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
for castor oil apply it on lashes with a mascara brush....... go to sleep and was your face as you would everyday.......
when i used to apply it i had it on my lashes almost all the time........cause i thought it wasnt a really bad substitute for mascara :D

Deeba try lumigan b4 bed time and also on days u r home most of the time. do u wear extensions everyday? but Rapid lash gives results in as less as 10 days but for max results 8 weeks r best. if u can hav own natural lashes who needs extensions even mascara everytime u go out.
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
does castor oil make ur head hair grow long faster too?

I did use Lumigan every evening and morning for a little while and the corner lashes seemed noticeably longer but then I kinda got lazy and couldn't be bothered to keep it up. I'm really bad with stuff like this, I don't have the patience to see it thru.. Then I thought I might keep using the stuff even tho I've got the lash extensions so I can stop once my own lashes have grown long + thick enough themselves but even tho they're meant to be placed a tiny bit away from the root these ones seem to be right on there and I don't think I'd be able to get much product where it's needed :(

Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
I was just going to start a thread on this topic
My problem is that I had a few eyelashes fall out because of an eye cream I was using for a stye I got. Is there anyway for me to get those eyelashes to grow back again?
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
i've used castor oil and it did help slightly only b/c i used it a couple of times. I didn't put a lot of of oil only a little on my fingertips and gently rubbed my eyelashes. or maybe it was just in my head that I THOUGHT it worked lol. well my eyelashes are long tho. now.
Re: How to lengthen eye lashes?
GIRLS!
Before using Lumigan/Latisse/Revitalash/Lilash, please do your research. A quick Google just revealed a scientific study of a small sample of people using one of these products, and how it can result in the loss of preiorbital fat (fat around the eyes)... i would think that is more ageing than lack of lashes, don'tcha think?
Other side effects that have been reported from use of the aforementioned lash products:
->eyecolour darkening
->lashes actually falling out after you stop using the product
->darkening of skin around the lash line
->light sensitivity
Of course, there are side effects with any product one uses, and not all people will experience them... so just take this as a warning and do thorough research before investing your money in such products.
FYI - make-up removers can leave my eyelashes dry and brittle, so i use Vaseline to keep them soft and full. Works for me :)
