Re: How to kill your mother in law…
I dunno what you’re talking about. Besides…
PS started it! His scenario is worse b/c then you’re left wondering WTH happened. At least in my scenario, there is a final ending. :halo:

Re: How to kill your mother in law...
I fully agree that being nice to others can go a long way. But I find stories like this ridiculous b/c the blame is always on the DIL.
In THIS story the DIL goes out to buy poison to kill her MIL. It wasn't the MIL who went out to buy poison for the DIL.

hmmm....Iyla makes a good point.
who's evil now?
Re: How to kill your mother in law...
The story still ends with the lesson the the DIL deserved to be treated like crap b/c she wasn't obedient enough to begin with. Its not like the DIL went out to get the poison b/c the MIL treated her with respect and made her feel welcome in her new house.
And for the record, I don't advocate actually murdering a MIL just b/c she's evil. Not worth going to jail for. Its best to just leave the situation if things are that intolerable.

It's not about whose evil.
Let's change the story a bit and suppose the MIL went out to buy poison for her DIL instead...the moral of the story will STILL be the same - that we should practice to control our temper, be patience and that time will eventually help to improve things, InshaAllah.
Just pick the positives out of the story. :)

According to the story (not anyone's personal life please just the story!) the MIL wasn't treating the DIL nicely BUT the DIL plotted to murder her MIL! - they sound just as bad as each other in the beginning! Lol.
In the story is says that Li-Li had practiced controlling her temper so much that she found that she almost never got mad or upset and that she hadn't argued with her MIL in 6 months - so this implies that the DIL would lose her temper at her MIL getting upset etc before she bought the poison!
The story isn't blaming the MIL or the DIL...BOTH were at fault...and both eventually through mutual effort resolved their issues. :)
