How to keep you wardrobe updated?

i am not into wasting etc i just hate when my clothes go unworn and now pakistani fashion is changing to quickly ,half my kapray go outdated before i can even wear them properly. And i cant wear all of them at home.Kitnay kapray ghar pe pehnoonge. And where i live ,i cant find many people who i can donate my clothes to.

Re: How to keep you wardrobe updated?

Well if you can't donate them, how about alterations? If I have anything I havn't worn and the fashion changes, I usually go for keeping up with the look by some simple addition/reduction. e.g. avg kameezes can be made into those baggy frock like things by asking your tailor to stitch strips of another material's panels into it. Or long kameezes can be folded and stitched to appear short, and vice versa. It depends on how crazy you are about current trends.
I personally feel one should go with whatever looks good on them, regardless of the current fashions but improvise with accessories, laces, buttons, frills, panels, ribbons or whatever your into. Most fads look and do better on the runway than in real life :)

rolla the best thing to do is not to make many clothes in the first place. I've learnt my lesson. Hence, I stick to a few pieces. Not only it's a waste of money, clothes go out of fashion even before we get a chance to wear them abroad. The place I live in we have the same issue: you barely get to wear desi clothes.
