The actual number of what? You just said Pakistanis were more literate than Arabs. That is clearly not true when you look at literacy rates of Arabs states, Iran vs. Pakistan. Even poor little Vietnam has a higher literacy rate than Pakistan.

Look all the Hizbiz (considering 100% Shias constitute Hizbiz) total 1.5 million. That is equivalent to a small locality in Karachi. Even when all 1.5 million are "literate", while assuming 20% literacy in Karachi (it is in fact close to 100%), only Karachi will produce at least 3 million literates.
Moreover Arab literacy coupled with tribal arrogance leads them to death and destruction over and over and over. Why else Hizbiz would start a war with no plans to defend their own women and children.
It is only the arrogance and ignorance in Arab world that has resulted in continuous destruction from Egypt to Iraq. You can't blame it on tiny Israel or mighty USA. you have to accept your responsibility. That your education system has consistently failed you.

Muslims in Indian Subcontinent are totally different compared to the species found in the Middle East.
I am not talking about someone's capabilities in non-religious issues, I was strictly talking about their faith, understanding of religion etc.
