my two cents:
as mama said, christmas isn't really about religion any longer from a general pov - its more of a cultural celebration. whether this is "right" or not, is really another discussion.
my hubby and i celebrate everything- from eid to easter to christmas- he's gora and i have never expected him to give up his culture or the occassions that his memories are formed around just because he was marrying a muslim. when we have kids IA, they'll be celebrating everything right along with us, because like mama, we want them to have a fully rounded experience in life from both parents and their very different cultures and celebrations.
basically, i agree entirely with what mama said. lol
