The best way to learn it, as I have seen it, is to have someone proofread it for you and correct your mistakes. You will always remember to not make those mistakes again. I used to have pen-friends in different conuntries when I was in my teens, and I used to write them letters in english but had someone correct the minstakes for me. This worked amazingly well. Being from an Urdu medium school until 10th grade, I am still glad today, many years later, that I did that.
