Im not married but this has happened to me before. Its appalling behavior to say the least.

I don’t care who they are or how closely they know my family…I tend to cut things short and leave. And I don’t think its something I necessarily even know I am doing…it just happens. I pick up on it and want out of the situation asap.

Trying to be tactful makes me nervous in such a scenario.
