HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE

**ARE YOU 100% SURE THAT IF YOU DIED TODAY THAT YOU WOULD GO TO HEAVEN?

There are some things that you should know:

1. Realize that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior:**

Ro 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Ro 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”

This all began with the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God created them perfect, there was no death or sorrow. God told them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God and as a result, sin entered into the world. The pain which this world sees is the result of sin.

  1. Because of our sins, we die both spiritually and physically, but God sent His Son to die so that you can have a chance not to have to go to hell by accepting what He did on the cross for you:

Ro 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Ro 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. for us.”

Every person who has ever lived is a sinner and is not righteous because we do bad things. A sin is a crime against God, just as if you steal something at the store, it is punishable by going to jail. It’s the same thing with sin. Even if we lie one time, the punishment is hell, which is a prison for those who commit crimes against God. No matter how well you live your life from then on, you have already committed a sin which will be punished if you are not pardoned. If you commit a crime, and then live as a good citizen you still will go to jail for the crime you committed. Right? Just as the president can pardon a crime so you won’t go to jail, Jesus can pardon your sins so that you do not go to hell, and can go to heaven when you die.

3.** If you will confess to Jesus Christ that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, accept Him as Lord and Savior and believe in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead you will be saved.**

Ro 10:9,10 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved..”

Joh 1:12 Joh 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name”

You cannot get to heaven by being a good person, going to church, baptism or any other way other than by turning to Jesus and asking Him to forgive you for your sins and save you. While these are good things to do, some people believe that they will get to heaven if they do these things, but the bible says that there is only one way to heaven and that is through receiving what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you.

Will you do that today? If you will, you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sins? Are you willing to turn from your sins to Jesus Christ for Salvation

If you are willing to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior please humble yourself before God and pray this prayer to Him from your heart:

“Dear LORD JESUS, I believe that YOU died on the Cross and Rose from the dead for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and forgive me for my sins, take me to heaven when I die. I now receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus holy name, Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer from your heart to God, and meant it with all of your heart, you are now a child of God and will go to heaven when you die.

Now that you are on your way to heaven, you should attend a bible believing church and follow in baptism

Re: HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE

i think there should be some sort of fast moving lift or rocket like appolo to reach heaven
if you go by foot it is very hard to cross sarraat bridge which is very sharp and thinner than hair as i heard

Well with full respect for starter of this thread(xfrod…) i wanted to know about your religion. I have many doubts in my mind, if you clear them iam interested to learn more about your religion.I just have basic knowledge about christianity.

Firstly christains believe Jesus is God, well but how can a God die??
God should be eternal, how can he die?was Jesus really crucified??crucification is a fact or fiction?

Secondly you believe that Jesus is the son of God and christians believe that Jesus died to save the sinners. He is it possible that a father punish the innocent to save the sinners. The so-called Original Sin cannot be such a problem for the Almighty God that He is compelled to sacrifice “His own Son.” He could very well cancel that sin or He could simply demand an atonement from the sinful or at least ask for sincere repentance from them.

Thirdly i wanted to know the difference between old testment and new testment, when bible is the word of God why do christians ommit verses or manipulate them??

Based on vedios i watch regarding christianity i learned that there is not a single statement where Jesus(PBUH) himself says iam God or worship me. Rather i learned that it is mentioned in…
Gospel of John ch: 14 v:28: My father is greater than I.
Gospel of John ch: 10 v:29: My father is greater than all.
Gospel of Mathew ch:12 v: 28: I caste out devils with the spirit of God
Gospel of luke ch:11, v:20: I with the fingure of God caste out devils.
Gospel of John ch:5, verse: 30: here the speakers voice was not clear so iam unable to write this verse , but when i tried to search this verse with my limited sources or 0% knowledge , i founded that it has been ommitted if not kindly tell me what this verse says.
If it is mentioned anywhere in the bible that jesus himself declared that iam God or worship me, then please tell me so that i can know the base or foundation of the christians believe that Jesus is God??

My responses are in bold above.

Jesus Christ IS God

**There are some religions out there that believe and teach that Jesus Christ is not God. Some teach that He is a god, but not thee God. I am going to demonstrate through the word of God that He is God and created all things. He always was. **

Mic 5:2 (NKJV) “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, [Though] you are little among the thousands of Judah, [Yet] out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth [are] from of old, From everlasting.”

**This prophecy is of Christ’s first comming. His Goings forth have been from everlasting because Christ Jesus is God ****Jesus Christ is one with the Father. He is God. **

Joh 14:8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all one God

1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

Take an egg and break it in a bowl. How many parts are there? How many eggs are here? That’s how it is with God

Jesus declares Himself to be the great I AM of the Old Testiment

Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

In the Old Testiment I am is God. There is only one God. That God has three parts.

Ex 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

God’s plurality is found in Genesis

Ge 1:26 ¶ Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

**This verse demonstrates how God has multiple aspects. He said Let “US” make man in “OUR” image. He didn’t say, let me make man in My image, He said let US make man is OUR image **John declares Christ Jesus to be God

Joh 1:1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth

John declares that the world was made by Him (Jesus Christ)

Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him

All things were made by Him and He was in the beginning with God (Father)

Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made

**Conclusion: Jesus Christ is God. Not a God but the God of the bible. God has three parts. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All are equal, yet the Son is submissive to the Father and the Holy Spirit is submissive to the Son. Jesus Christ was an EXAMPLE for us. He died on the cross for our sins so that we could go to heaven and be forgiven of our sins. He shed His blood for us. **

Heb 9:22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

I have already sent you a message about starting up the same thread over and over again. This is a discussion forum and you need to engage in discussion. By repeatedly opening up the same thread you are only showing up your lack of respect for the rules and of others.

The answers you give are textbook ... copy pasted ... I have commented on your thread once or twice before ... this is the last time this thread will be allowed to remain until then deal with the dialogue and answer the questions without sending people on wild goose chases back to the opening thread. If you want an honest discussion then follow the rules of good conduct and open your heart and practices to honesty and embrace all peoples as your own.

Re: HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE

Issue him a warning or ban him. It is not a Christian seminary or church where we should allow people and preach Christianity. If some Christianity bashing is going on he can take part in that discussion or if he wants he can take part in Islamic discussion that too with decency and humbleness he can be our guest.

I didn't re-open this thread, it was already open.

Love the title :k:

1) Muslims realise that everyone sins

2) According to Islam, God sent the Messiah (AS) who is not His begotten son any more than David (AS) is His begotten to teach the believers of his time piety and righteousness.

3) According to Islam, Isa (AS) or Jesus Christ (AS) will reject those people who turned him in to a deity without his say so. He will disown them when as in the Bible it says "they will say Lord Lord" .. He will return to this world in his second coming and he will show a sign to those who believed in his mission of saviourhood and those who worshipped him on the cross by breaking it. He will be the leader of Muslims and confirm their allegience as followers of Muhammad (SAW) ...

In the first coming ... Jesus Christ (AS) prayed, like Muslims do, he greeted like Muslims do, he dressed and looked like Muslims do and when he returns he will recognise us as people of his fold. Jesus (AS) performed many miracles ... the first of which was to speak as a baby in the arms in defence of the honour of his mother Mary (AS) a detail that is missing from the Bible. Muslims believe that we have greater right to Jesus (AS) than any people because he was a Muslim, (a believer and submitter to the One God).

Peace xfrodobagginsx

For the sake of your dignity I shall assume you are honestly missing my point which does not matter for me. I am fine to have your thread here, but I fear it will be something that you will find frustratingly difficult to convince us that your way is better by adopting such 'I'm innocent - wink wink' approaches.

Well you didn't respond to my last verse, but alhumdulillah i found that verse which i mentioned in my previous post.
Gospel of John, Ch No.5, V: No.30... 'I can of my own self do nothing'...'I can of my own self do nothing - As I hear, I judge and my judgement is just, for I seek not my own will, but the will of my Father.' What does this verse mean, doesn't it say that Jesus(pbuh) submitted his will to Almighty God, since christ(pbuh) said 'not my will but God's will'. And any person who says so is a muslim. We muslims believe that Jesus(pbuh) was born miraculously, without any male intervention..Jesus(pbuh) one of the mightiest messengers of God. We believe he gave life to the dead, with God's permission....we believe that he healed those born blind, and lepers with God's permission. We respect Jesus (pbuh) as one of the mightiest messenger of God.

Next in your conclusion statment you said jesus has three parts...father, son n holy spirit i.e TRINITY, right! The concept of 'trinity' doesn't exists anywhere in the bible but still christians say they can prove the concept of trinity scientifically as that of three states of water as solid, liquid n gas.

Instead this is testified by Jesus(pbuh) himself in Gospel of luke ch:24 verse:36—39 "Behold my hands n feet , handle me and see for a spirit does not have flesh n bones and He gave his hand they saw n they were overjoyed and he said do you have any thing to eat and they gave him fish n a piece of honeycomb".....He ate that to prove that he was not god or spirit. But still why do christians apply this concept of trinity to Jesus(pbuh) when this verse it quite clear. Please explain the concept !!

The whole lie of the devil and attack was on His deity (Godhood). Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. The devil doesn't want you to believe in Him. Jesus Christ is certainly going to come back, but not just to rule over muslims, He will rule over the world. Anyone who doesn't accept Him as Lord and Savior will not see His kingdom, but will be cast into the lake of fire. You MUST accept Him according the the bible as your Lord and Savior. He is God in the flesh.

Verses in the bible that speak of Jesus being the Son of God.

My responses are in bold above.

Remember that the bible was written by the ACTUAL eyewitnessess and disciples of Jesus Christ. It is the acurate writing regarding Jesus, not the contradictory ones found elsewhere.

This is not accurate you have merely given your interpretation of the Bible, which is itself an interpretation of the 'eye-witnesses' you know so little about. From the Bible alone more Islam can be derived than Christianity and one major point is the Oneness of God.

I do understand what was written before. I am not saying that any errors exist in the Bible at this stage. What I am saying is that you must justify why you interpret the Bible so awkwardly. The true Bible also was not written it was taught as a spoken message through the mouth of Jesus (AS). In the Bible it says that Jesus (AS) taught the gospels. Well if he taught the gospels it could not have been the book that narrated that fact. The people who wrote the Bible also were not eye-witnesses because they said themselves that they spoke to eye-witnesses. Besides I am not talking about errors in the text. Not at this stage. Firstly, I want to show you that there are better and more accurate meanings that can be understood from the Biblical text when you remove the bias from the theological angle and read it as a plain script. Here are some examples that you have given:

In John 3:16 there are versions of this text that do not use the word begotten, also it is understood that the term 'son' can stil mean 'a servant' or 'someone dear and close'. So your quote can be understood in context to Oneness of God.

1 John 5:12 - This is another statement that can easily be taken in the metaphoric sense. To 'have the son' does not mean that we have a person in our possession rather it means we believe in him, it does not have to mean that we believe in him to be God, but rather to be sent by God. Simple isn't it? This way the compatibility with the Old Testament remains in tact.

1 John 5:10 - To believe in the 'son of God' is the same as saying to 'bear witness' it is a belief requirement to believe in God, and to believe that Jesus (AS) is the agent of God. There is nothing more that needs to be understood from these verses.

This whole paragraph is taken directly from the writings of people like Aquinas and Athanasius they are not direct from the Bible but acquired statements through some sort of interpretation. Jesus (AS) was a Muslim in the Bible because he says so. He says that he is subservient to the Will of God. He never asks for worship and instead himself worships God.

Again Mr baggins ... this is a statement which is your belief not what your scriptures say. I too believe that Jesus (AS) will rule over the world, but he will recognise Muslims and reject people who call him God. Muslims call Jesus (AS) sayyiduna which means lord and we believe he will save us from our predicament, which means he is saviour, but we do not believe that our sins are taken by him in any way, because that would be an injustice to good people and it would also conflict with the Old Testament.

Yes ... I agree Jesus (AS) was the figurative son of God, and these verses all show this. But which verse shows categorically that Jesus (AS) can only be a literal son of God? Here is why Jesus (AS) cannot be the literal son of God:

1) God does not die - Jesus according to the Bible authors died (but they were really deluded, just like it says in Mt 4:6 - the angels saved him, and then in John 3:14 it says that he (Jesus) will be lifted up, so he was saved)

2) God is not born - Jesus (AS) was born

3) God does not have absence in knowledge - Jesus (AS) had to ask who touched him from behind.

4) God does not become powerless - Jesus (AS) when he was touched his power went to the one who touched him and also if he was crucified he was in a state of powerlessness

5) God does not eat or drink - Jesus (AS) ate and drank

Anyway the point is that there are more ways to interpret the Bible that you believe to be letter perfect ... even if I agree with you that it is perfect ... how can you demonstrate that your understanding of it is perfect?

My responses are in bold above

One doubt arouse in my mind.If you see Gospel of John ch:10,v:29 My father is greater than all.......ch:14,v:28 says -My father is greater than I,On the other hand you gave a verse from ch:10,v:30- **I and My father are one, **Does this mean that the verses of bible are contradictory to each other??

The word 'trinity' is mentioned no where in the bible. The concept of trinity is very important in christianity, give me verse where the word trinity is mentioned?
and what you are refering to as holy ghost is angel Gabriel, to understand this we can compare Matt 1:18 and Luke 1:26
Matt 1:18 .....Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.
luke 1:26 ....In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth
Trinity was formulated in the year 325 by Athanasius, an Egyption deacon from Alexandria at the Council of Nicea presided by Emporer Constantine -- *three century after jesus was gone. *

Jesus Moses n all prophets(pbut) proclaimed the Oneness of God
Moses - Deut. 6:4 'Hear O Israel: the Lord, our God is one Lord'
Jesus - Mark 12:29 hear O Israel:** the Lord our God is one Lord'**
What do you think of last verse that i mentioned. Our lord doesn't refer to Jesus(pbuh).

Now i want to deal with the concept of crucification, and i will start this by saying that God is most merciful to forgive all our sins. So he is Just and will never punish innocent people, he is oft-forgiving to forgive his slaves.

Jesus(pbuh) prayed to God that He should not die. This is mentioned in …Matthew 26:39:And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”
And His prayer was accepted by God almighty and it is mentioned in …Hebrews 5:7:In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
This two verses cleared that Jesus(pbuh) did not die and hence there is no point that Jesus(pbuh) was crucified.

Jesus(pbuh) desired mercy but not sacrifies, and this is mentioned in… Matthew 12:7:And if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless.

Matthew 9:10-13…And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Firstly 12:7 clears that when jesus(pbuh) do not desire sacrifies why will He do that for our sins??? further next four verses clears that he came to call the sinners not to make a sacrifies for there sins!!!

Crucification is not mentioned in bible, but alhumdulillah it is mentioned in holy Quraan that Jesus was not crucified **-“And because of their saying (in boast), ‘We killed Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah,’ - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblence of Jesus was put over another man and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no certain knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely, they killed him not” (Quran 4:157) **

Thus, i feel even an ordinary christian can conclude that Jesus(pbuh) was not crucified on cross.I suggest you to watch debate between Dr zakir naik and william Cambell, and other related videos, hope it helps you clear all your doubts. Last but not the least i request you to read Quraan only once, just once …then iam sure you will realise that not even a single verse of Quraan condradicts other. Dont take me wrong iam not asking you to revert to Islam or leave your religion, but just have some basic knowledge about Islam, since they are much similarities between christianity and Islam. I think for a month or two this will be be my last post since i have got hectic schedule, but still inshallah i will try my level best to repond you further if i get time.
May Allah(sat) guide us all to the right path, Ameen!

Absolutely not. Jesus Christ came to earth as a servant. He submits Himself to the Father, even though He is all powerful, all knowing, and every bit as much God. The Holy Spirit submits to the Son and the Son submits to the Father. It's just the hiarchy that is set up within the Godhead. You can't have all three parts doing their own thing. He is still one God, yet resides in three persons. I can't totally explain it because I'm NOT God.

Here is another verse for you to ponder:

Jesus Christ admits that He is one and the same with the Father:

Joh 14:8 Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us."Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

Yes, God is one Lord and He has three parts. Look at the verses below. Jesus tells you plainly that He's ONE with the Father. Do you believe Him?

The bible tells you plainly that the Holy Spirit is also ONE with the Father and the Son. Do you believe it?

Just because the "word" isn't there doesn't mean it's not taught in scripture. You can plainly see that it's taught all throughout the bible.

1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

*Jesus Christ was brought back to life by the Holy Spirit. *

1Pe 3:18 ¶ For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,

Jesus Christ was brought back to life by the Father:

Ga 1:1 ¶ Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead),

Jesus Christ (The Word) is God:

Joh 1:1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth

*Gabriel has NOTHING to do with the Holy Spirit. I don't even see how you could even make that assertion. That's like calling Joseph the Holy Spirit. It's ludicris. They are clearly separete. *

*Jesus plainly says that He is ONE and the same with the Father. That's how Jesus is God, yet God is one God. Do you see it now? *

*Jesus is the "I Am" that spoke to moses. I AM is God. *

Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
