Couple of things that we learned ..
invest in two box fans (maybe 12-15 dollars each) and put that in window facing outwards. Let them run for an hour. They work like a charm.
Cook druring day time, late morning/early after noon when there is sunlight, Sun light is the best deodarizer.
Agar batti only makes it worst so avoid that :D
If you can sprinkle Baking soda on carpet, leave it for a while and vaccum it, that should help.
Scented candles help a lot
