I was frying samosas and suddenly the oil popped and a drop went on my face…i washed it with cold water and the skin went off..it’s small area and it’s red

My question is I don’t want any mark or scar

What should I do

really depends on how badly you were burnt.
I've been burnt on my arm with hot oil and I'm afraid that it can take years before the scars go away......

i burnt a patch on my arm like 7 years ago. There is still a faint scar.

But before u apply anuything let the burnt skin heal on its own .Almond oil works great btw for scars.

It may take some time. But Let it heal first without touching or putting cosmetic creams on it.

My doctor had prescribed two different kinds of ointments for my burn....the first one was called Fucidin and I can't remember the second one. Apparently Fucidin works very well if applied immediately.

I have burn marks all over my hands and quiet few on face too ( :( ).. I was thinking of using Retin A

neosporin is awesome for using on a burn to prevent scarring

Reha.....the burns that I had.....some were 2nd and 1st degree......neosporin would have had absolutely no impact on.

So again, it depends on the severity.

That's true. I have only used it on minor cuts and burns. Like if my arm grazed the tawa or oil like the OP. Nothing serious.

So would something like Mederma help?

I have an old burn scar on my arm.. I've been advised to use a silicone strip to flatten it completely (the colour is the same, just it's raised).. ScarFx is meant to be good but I haven't had the patience to use it long-term..

What worked for me was calendula creme. It helps heal and prevents scars ffrom forming. I've only used it on minor burns. Also, it's lightend a really old scars. If I would use it permanently it would disappear completely, I guess.

along with Retin A, may I also suggest using a lid.

don't listen to him......
you can't use a lid when frying because the steam will collect on the inside surface of the lid and subsequently drip into the hot oil.....thereby causing even more oil to pop out onto you......

I got burnt with a bike's silencer pretty badly on my calf a few years ago. My doctor advised me to apply virgin coconut oil on the burn after the blister was burst. I was quite happy with the result. Also, if its a superficial burn, it'll fade away with time.

I had hot oil splash my face a few months back just next to my eye which was very painful i used bio oil on it at night for about two days and it kind of peeld off and left no scar
