I’ve had belly fat since I was around 13, I’m 21 now. I have absolutely no clue what’s causing it and how I can get rid of it. I don’t eat much sweets, just 2 teaspoons in my morning tea. I eat typical desi salan roti, and rice twice a week. my water intake sucks but I’m working on it since the past week.
For breakfast I usually have a cup of tea and a boiled egg.
Lunch - whatever salan and half a roti
dinner - whatever salan and half a roti
Exercise - 20 minutes of moderate cardio (planning on increasing it to an hour starting today)
Can anyone tell me any possible causes for this belly fat and what i can do to get rid of it?
sometimes itsgenetic. thats where your body stores fat. if you are a healthy weight and just want to tone up, try pilates. but its not a quick fix your body will take time in order to shift the fat
Well..easiest thing would be to go to gym and work on your abs. Ya might do some aerobic, pilates and things like that. Now..keep in mind it might take bit long..but ya'll get there eventually..cheers!
Not the easiest one method but effective one is to go on facka kashi, stop eating. Gym or crunches will help but very little and you will gain everything back if you stop for a week.
The second option, which actually changed the way I eat, google EAT4YOURBLOODTYPE. For example, if you are AB+, stop eating chicken (absolutely no chicken).
For ref of the above, go to their website please.
Rather than going to the gym, go for long runs outside across steep hills and so on and work on your abs-sit ups crunchs etc
It will take some time but if you stick to a plan you'll get there
This is an interesting, and much debated topic. I would like to share something that has worked for most people, especially those in the Military. In order to lose belly fat, you have to lose fat overall, you would need to reduce the amount of fat you intake to 1/3 of what you intake right now, and mix your cardio with High strength/resistance training. Meaning - weights, and high/low/high/low interval workouts. You cannot target workout on one specific part of your body in order to lose the fat in that part.
In simple terms, build muscles to burn the existing fat, and reduce fat intake, (Avoid oils, greasy fried foods, butter etc.) Building muscle will also increase your metabolism since muscles even at rest burn calories. Have reasonable expectations, meaning stay committed for at least 90 days, to see visual results.
Instead of going from 20 to 60 mins, why not go 20 to 30 or even 25 and make that extra time be faster paced running. You can break it up too (ie run 5 mins then one minute sprint for 30 mins.).
The easiest and most appropriate way to lose your belly fat is to have a proper diet and proper gym. These things will really help to keep your belly at the previous position.
