Watched it when it first came out, the heterosexual as well as gay sex scenes were too much for me... stopped after 3 episodes.

It is highly unrealistic but not gonna lie, I actually enjoyed watching the show apart from the sex scenes but decided it wasn’t worth it.

I agree - there is a fair bit of inappropriate material, but still nearly not as explicit or graphic as GOT. Also, the frequency of such scenes has declined as the season progressed. Ignoring the inappropriate content factor, I think this is one of the most gripping and interesting stories out there.

Hmm might give it another try during spring break then. Never got into the hype of Games of Thrones but from what I hear, I am sure the inappropriate content doesn't match up.

Maybe it's the norm for west public tv now? but the prolonged gay sex scenes were.... uncomfortable.

She is the executive producer of the show. Scandal is also one of her shows, also with a fair bit of sexual content.

I watch it and enjoy it quite a bit, story is pretty good and although it got a bit boring a few episodes ago (when the kids were scared and all) but it has picked up and gotten more interesting now. Sex scenes are nasty, esp. the gay stuff so i try to forward through them.

Can cover up the awkward explicit scenes by starting up an awkward conversation about anything with the spouse while the scene is on. On that note... hiya @nymeria
