You will gain weight naturally as you get older, so don't worry about it. However, if you do want to gain weight immediately, do not start eating lots of junk food. Eat bananas, lots of them.

but infact i eat a lot ......and this lot really includes junk food
but i admit ....i'm not totally dependent on junk or fast food items
n i think there shud be a healthy way of gaining weight.....
ialready eat too much bananas.......n i'm fond of drinking full cream milk

Wow, it seems like you have a very quick metabolism to burn off all the calories from the food you eat. I suggest you go to a nutritionist, and he/she will tell inform you how to gain weight in a healthy manner. That's the best thing at this point I think.
I suggest the following shake twice a day: 1 banana, 1 apple, few strawberries, icecream, milk. Blend to a puree, makes two glasses. Try to eat 6 times a day in increments.

dont eat alot of bananas, cuz they can plug the exit of your body, If u know what I mean :D
So they ll give problems when goin to toilet,

Dinner: Roast, milkshakes,and alot of meat!!!!!

Irem, u have a gr8 point. Stress and tension makes u lose weight superfast.
Coco, I tried the ectomorph thingy, didn't work.
Afia, what I do now is protein drinks just to stabilize weight. Have you had your thyroids checked? Sometimes overactive thyroids contribute to excess weight loss. Get a new doctor.
Also, keep yr calcium levels in check. Too much milk and calcium products can be bad, because if you stop consuming them for a little while, you might have some side-effects. So take them in moderation, but do consume them. If u r in the US/Canada, try Ensure, Sustecal or Boost milkshakes. They have the right calories to help you gain weight.
Some people have told me that having long hair makes the hair get all the proteins and cuts down on what the body gets. I donno if it's true tho. U might want to check that out.
And if u have any success with anything, pls. share.
Get your thyroids checked. If you eat a lot as you say, and still not gaining weight, then get a blood test done for T3, T4 and T7. Ask your doctor, first. She should know.
