If they're fresh leaves and you might cook in tomorrow or the next day, then put it in a ziploc bag and keep it in the fridge. I haven't frozen fresh spinach before, but it should be ok to put in the freezer. Or go with the other option to cook it and freeze it. Cooked vegetable salans can be frozen for a long time and still be good, maybe upto 2 months (not sure). Whichever one you find convenient.

yeah if you wanna freeze it , cook it and then do it ..

however , if you want to freeze it just in a bag , then other then two tiny inconveniances , it will come out fine … the first being, palak leaves lose their crisp after they defrost so you cant really use them in the pakora’s etc , but can cook them like normal.

Second inconvenience is that once defrosted if you try to put them in a blender , they wont freaking blend fine ! they start looking like weed  …

In short, if you use palak for making salan only, then no problem freeze it and use it later . but if you need them to remain fresh and crisp , then freezing is not an option.

why do you want to put them in blender?

I have used frozen palak in pakoras and it tasted fine to me. Yes, you cannot use it in salads but salan, pastas, and even some kind of pakoras, samosas, rolls, pie, etc.
