How to forgive in marriage

How do you bounce back after arguments? Is it okay to let go of some things in order to stay close to partner and keep peace within marriage?

Re: How to forgive in marriage

Of course it is ok to let go of some things in order to keep the peace. It depends though on what you are "forgiving." If it is a silly argument it's more than recommended to just let it go but if it is major (I.e.: spouse cheating, issues surrounding trust) well that is a whole different ball game and isn't something one should be prepared to just let be.

depends on what the argument is about.

Trivual things... forgive and forget

How to forgive in marriage

Keeping peace is important but when you care for someone, sometimes trivial things don't matter. You go through an adjustment period and the first year of marriage is the hardest when your learning about what each other and things that work. I think it depends on the issue and how each person reacts and handles whatever the problem is important.
