How to fix typo in your thread's Subject

I created a thread and there was some typing mistake in my subject line.

When I realized I tried to edit subjext line.I edited it and saved it but still the changes are not reflected.

When I try to edit it again ,I see the correct the subject line.

where is the issue??

I know he can do it.
But I was wondering is it can be fixed by techies for once and all.
