Re: How to exfoliate face?

Exfoliation is supposed to get rid of dead skin cells to reveal a brighter/fresher skin. If you keep it up you will deff notice the difference and your skin will feel super smooth. But you might want to be careful if you have pimples, or acne because the scrubbing might aggravate them.As for the mix you are talking about, make sure its grainy enough so that you can scrub your face with it gently but not soo rough that it just ends up hurting.
Start by fashing your face, then scrub it wih the mixture for about three minutes...agter some people are done scrubbig they like to keep the mixture on thier face for a couple more minutes and then wash it, but you can wash it of right away if you want.
Then apply any moisturizer that you usually do. Dont exfoliate too often because it can leave the skin a bit sensitive, so for best results try to keep it limited to two to three times a week.

Re: How to exfoliate face?

Exfoliation helps to improve the texture of dull skin, and sloughs off the dead skin cells your body has shed. I used St Ives apricot scrub to exfoliate my face but actually ended up having an adverse reaction because I was scrubbing too much. What I'm using at the moment is Decleor Phytopeel which is really soft and gentle. Homemade exfoliators are pretty simple to make too- you can use things like porridge oats or fine ground almonds. Follow your exfoliation with a good moisturiser to keep your skin supple and soft.
