We dont know the way, to break this process, as the baby has now grown to two years but he loves much and we are completely failing to bring him on alternate food.
Some one told there is some medicine that can prove helpful, we dont have that idea.
is there any ?

Has he had any regular milk? slowly replace each nursing with a regular milk feeding (from a cup ideally, but a bottle is ok if needed).

Slowly decrease the feedings, till he is only feeding twice a day, once in teh morning and once at night. If he asks during the day, tell him its not time yet and offer him something else to eat or drink. At age 2, his nutritious needs are probably not met by breastmilk and hopefully he is eating much more. If he cries, stay persistent. Slowly he will understand that you guys are serious about this. Dont give in once you start the process of weaning.

Actually we are adopting all the conventional ways to keep him away from the breast milk, also we brought alternate natural and artificial milk but still he always persists on the breast milk.
He cries very much and will not sleep or get up from the bed if breast milk is not given.
We are giving him fruits, potatoes etc, my mother was saying the breast milk gets more sweet/delicious with time that is why the baby loves it more and more as he/she grows.
He was born premature and he still does not have that weight other babies of his age are having though he is normal as doctors are saying.
Any one here have the idea about medication in such type of cases, some one told that the mother is given some particular medicine which makes the milk bitter and in this way the baby does not persists for it, unfortunately we could not jot down the medicine name nor remember the person was telling about.
Hope some one out there knows about it ?

this is the difficult thing,but if u want ur baby to stop BF then u shod,slowly avoid giving ur baby BF wen she cries for it,try to gv her milk from the bottle or a spout....but if the baby stll cries then don gv her BF at any cost(lill difficult for teh mother)but still u hv to do it....he will slowly understnd,n develop habbit drinking by bottle or a spout.... there is an old grand maa's totka...that the mother apply somethin bitter on her breast so wen the baby will taste the bitter she will not like it and most probbably will not ask again...although u may hv to do this few more times.....

We were successful ending the breast milk feeding, it was really hurting for us being parents while he was crying, but it was hard for the first night and the following day.
Now he is adopting to his new/alternate food, milk and fruits.
