our country is in quagmire of extremism. could you guys highlight shot term and long term doable measures that can put this country back on track and eliminate extremism .

It can happen but it requires lot of other things to happen. US has to leave Afghanistan. Pakistan has to stop being the supplier of fighters. Need to invest in education. Stop un-controlled institutions which offer boarding or any education, or institutions which run on donations only. Any donations from outside Pakistan for education or anything must go through or be monitored by government. Spend money across the country for development of cities, not just big cities. Law enforcement. Etc. etc.
Give it 10-15 years and it should help.

You are right . Corruption and lake of education are the real hurdels . We need a national consenses and some people here in Pakistan are thinking about a national government . There is already a situation of a national government . All major parties are in government some way . PTI is ruling KPK , PPP is ruling Sindh ,GB and AJK , PML N is ruling in Punjab , Baluchistan and center . Other paries are also on board . No big hurdel in making a national government . N$ , Imran and Billawal are already rich enough . Big problem is MQM , slave of the their system . But without some revoulationery steps on regional issues nothing can go forward and it could be very difficult for Sindhi and Lahori minds . Issue of Baluchistan is more important than Taliban but we are not caring .

Thanks but googling Imran is not my need , I am authority on this . Many issues of Pakistan are just due to lake of confidence . Experiences of last sixty years are very bad . No one is ready to trust the Takht e Lahore & establishment . Just look ,what we did with Bahawalpur in the past and MQM Haqiqi in the last decade . No way to restore the confidence .

What do you think should be the role of average concerned Pakistani citizen towards solving Baluchistan issue? What's the least and most they can do to make a difference, since you obviously think the issue is more important than Taliban.

These are nice romantic rhetoric, I perfectly agree and understand that. But that's not enough, don't you think it's about time to take some real practical steps to tackle Balochistan issue?
