I make Iftar my dinner and call it a day!
a question on fasting...i'm trying to follow a work out regimen and now that Ramadan is coming up, do any of you have advice on this? should i discontinue it during Ramadan or is there just a better time to work out (ie after sehri, after iftaar?)

For sehri we eat paratha with salan ...For iftari we always eat khajoor...fruit chaat and pakores...
This time I will try not to eat paratta..just plain rotti with yogurt....and a lots of water...
Iftari..few khajoors and water with milk....and then fruit chaat...

i start my workout about 1 and a half hour before iftar and that way i have enough time to take a shower and help out with iftari and soon after you eat so your body won't go into starvation mode
but for guys who are doing a lot of weight lifting they need to have protein within 30 mins so just before iftar is the best time - and try to just maintain in ramzan instead of trying to gain so 2 times a week is sufficient for maintaining

btw... these tips are great
i always notice that in the first few days i get a headache after eating at iftari
and i dont over-eat at all and i never gain any weight so i am def not overeating but i dont get y i get a headache
i dont drink coffee/tea usually so that can't be the reason
i think it may have to do with the starving the whole day and lack of water... what do you guys think?
