it’s just a piece of cloth you pray on…it has got NO significance in it’s disposal…just put in a garbage bag and dispose it off.

If it has some Qur’aanic aayat on it then you cut that piece out and burn it.

I’ve never seen a prayer mat with Qur’aanic aayat on it. You couldn’t really put that on the floor then, could you?
