Can I ask what might sound like a really sexist question? Please forgive me, I don't mean to offend. Why is it that only/mostly women seem to have so much drama in their lives derived from OTHER people. Why are women SO overly concerned about what others think of them, how they feel about them, why they weren't invited to a party, is someone is talking rubbish behind their back, why care SO much to the point of getting stressed out?
None of my male friends seem to have ANY of these issues, only women that I know. My male friends and I simply don't care about these things, we just don't give it a second thought. I don't care what someone thinks of me, as long as I know I'm not a jerkweed, as long as my wife and family knows, WHO CARES what someone else thinks. I JUST don't get it.

I have someone in my life like that.
I can't avoid her....she's in our social circle.
I can't remove her.
I can't ignore her, she's in my face.
How do I cope?? I learned to be over-sweet to her. What I would do for those that I care about, I go overboard for her....publicly.
I know it is fake.....but my peace of mind demands it. Knowing that I am being nice to someone that constantly stabs me in the back gives me a sense of satisfaction.
It's my way of turning a bad situation into a good one. My way of thriving on something that was burning my blood.

Killing with kindness. I used to do this too, until i couldnt be bothered anymore. Being too too nice requires far too much effort.

This is a verygood advice....It gives your control back into your own hands....Like the saying...Kill em with Kindness.....I have done that at times...and those people get confused...and move back all flushed face and stuff..it is soooo funny to watch

Tough at times you have to fight back, politically, against maligning efforts of your adversaries (read colleagues) who are desprate to to stab your prestige.
