How to create flare in a lehenga/skirt

Hi guys,

Please tell me is there some other material that needs to be put under the lehenga/skirt to make it blow up and create that flare or does it depend on the material of the lehenga?

I want to get a lehenga made myself for an upcoming event and wanted to know how to go about it? And what fabrics should i be looking for?

something like this, you can make it as puffy as you want by adding more layers.
First the flare depends on how much fabric you use for the Lehnga, you can use net, chifoan, silk any fabric. But in order to puff your lehnga you need to add an under skirt with layers, I usually use hard net to make a skirt with layers that can be worn beneath a lehnga or even a dress to give it a little puffy look. Try using pure rawsilk 80gram and having a cancan put underneath to flair it out

Like the above poster said. Get a cancan. You can get it under raw silk if you are looking for a more structured look and silk if you want to do softer.

sorry for the ignorance...can someone tell me what a cancun is? And is this easily available in the markets?
