I got new wok from pakistan. now i m trying to clean it but pan is still black and smell like paint.
i even fried an egg and that also become black.
now i m thinking to use clorex (chlorine). what will you suggest me?

The burning paint thing is not good. If I were you I would throw away the wok.

If you do not want to buy a new non stick wok . Then burn all the paint wash and use that wok. preferably throw it away.

some fry pans and woks need to be heated with some oil first before you use it for food.
ie put oil in and heat until hot for 15/20 minutes then throw the oil away. if you think its still black let the pan cool and repeat the procedure.
on most branded/non stick pans you dont need to do this.
