How to check the Yarn Color ..

anyone knows a good technique to check if a particular is color fast?

I got some yellow and brown yarn from Pakistan and now am fearful that the bordering brown yarn will leave its color and the whole yellow bit will be ruined :frowning:

Would dipping it in water be enough to tell if its color fast or not?

Wet the string ..not all of it…just a few inches… And then rub it back and forth on a pce of white fabric… It won’t come off if it’s color fast.

havnt tried it as yet Muzna , was out and about constantly the whole day ! Will share tomorrow inshallah ..
