How to boost immunity

I have been getting sick and I wanted to know if any of you take any immunity boosting vitamins or just anything for immunity other than airborne. I already eat a diet full of vegetables and fruits so I have that covered. I just wanted to know aside from the prenatals, gnc hair skin and nails vitamins and a b complex vitamin, what else can I take to up my immunity?

Let me give some insight regarding Immunity in simple words. Three factors are related with immunity;
1. Diet
2. Activity &
3. Rest

Balanced diet with appropriate activity and proper rest, boost ones immunity. Too much or too less of any of these three can lead to impaired immunity. My advice, try to balance out these factors before trying some tonics.

I've found that no matter what I do, if I am not sleeping enough, I get sick more often

I am severely sleep deprived and hence this past winter I was sick every 3 weeks :bummer:

Studies have shown if you have a cold it gets worse if you consume sugar.

if you want a natural food to combat colds and flu eat Pumpkin seeds they are full of Zinc which helps fight colds and flu!

well what I have learned that you should combine fruits with nuts in the morning time and combine Veggies with seeds in the evening!

try zinc supplements. and try to get sleep. staying hydrated is super important. but zinc will help loads.

I'm sooo sleep-deprived and so very stressed out as well. I have not been taking hood care if myself and it surprised me that my dad caught a nasty bug on one of our recent trips. I'm glad that I didn't catch anything considering how my lifestyle of late makes me a magnet for bugs....but it reinforces the belief for me that sickness and health are from Allah and both are a blessing. I still believe in trying to stay healthy though. OP, apart from supplements...stay hydrated and up your consumption of greens. Sleep makes a difference, Alhumdolillah I slept well last night and I felt better this morning.

Thank you for the replies. I have noticed to that when I am sleep deprived I do get sick more often. I'm trying to go to bed earlier which is around midnight or a bit later for me.

Will incorporate pumpkin seeds and I love those.

How to boost immunity

Raw organic honey, black seed oil, chia seeds, flax seeds, organic unsalted pumpkin seeds all help. eat a fresh wide variety of foods. Also try apple cider vinegar.
