ive searched so much.. they ahve some pictures of different kinda eye shapes and finished results of eyes made up.. what i need is a step by step image of eye makeup .. in the process… how to apply eyeshadow more importantly… i tried doing it and wow .. ended up looking like an oriental hoooker :o
cool, I need some lessons too. funny, I used to be the queen of applying make-up and for the past year or so I’ve hardly been wearing any and have forgotten how to apply it! I used to go with purples and greens (used to suit me) and a darker shade in the crease and light under the brow. The dark shade in the crease needs to be drawn out into a triangle to elongate the eye.

play with colours khawa.. catty gave u the basic guideline the rest depends on colours that suits u.. personally i love metalic blue n green ( belle azure) collection.
just mix n match blend colours n play around with them. :-)
i apply eyeshadow but i dont think there is any hard to fast rule, just a lil bit of imagination and a blend of creative art.keep on doi it and after a few tries it be perfect
catty: but what bout rules like if u have small eyes.. or close set eyes etc.. ive been reading up on it.. i know what shaded color goes where.. but i end up painting the lid like a 2 yr old.. i dont even know where the hell im supposed to color upto :(
saru: i think im going to have to stick with light shades cuz i already have dark circles due to angry allergies... but i soooooooooooooo love the smokey look from MAC... sighz
belle: :D no women to watch here.. just a bunch of confused "gay" men to scared to touch any woman lest she accuse him of harassment
catty again: if the oriental hooker look is in.. then my eyes are TOTALLY HAPPENING! :hehe
i think my i've used the eye shadow thrice in my life......once on engagement ....twice on shaadi/walima.......n that too was applied by the beautician
so.....i'm now thinking to learn these skills .....(i know its quite late )....but i'm more interested in blusher.....how to apply that without resembling a clown...???
khawa you have big eyes, you can work with them, but I think you should go for soft colours nothing too bright, but plenty of eyeliner and mascara - thats the safest.
