Im a total Jahil when it comes to blushes but I love the look of it and they make your skin glow in photos.
So how do you ladies apply blush? Is it to do with the structure of your face and cheekbones??
Do you have to measure anything?
I tried applying some yesterday on my bday and it just looked like two patches on each cheek :(
One way to do it is to smile and then apply the blush at the apples of ur cheeks for a natural rosy look. Thats supposed to suit every face shape...
Another way is to (and i know this will sound weird) but suck in ur cheekbones and apply some blush at the base of ur cheekbones (closer ot the ears) and then just blend it out so u dont c a racing stripe..
Whichever way u decide, the key is to just blend, so it's a soft wash of color, and that it doesn't look obvious....
Er as far as I recall there's no measurment to it, just make sure to tap ur brush a few times to get rid of the excess product
chanda cheekstains? Arent they not suitable for oily skin?? I stain my lips but not really that keen on the cheeks.
Sara, how do you make sure you apply the mascara at even lenghths??
I ended up applying higher on one side and lower on the other side
here ill post a pic, I duno what face shape I have, im probably assuming its oval and I have two dimples on each side, the one on left more prominant than the right.
Do i avoid the dimples?? I really like Catherine Zeta Jones way of applying mascara in that movie she is with Antonio B
I also have this theory that my right side of the face is fatter than the left and my lips are uneven. Argh Blah! All i wanna do is get some blush on those pale cheeks
This is from my bday yesterday, I rubbed it off after applying it but some of it still remained.
The left cheek has more blush somehow and its higher than the right cheek.
no not really :-)
cream blushes are a no-no for oily skin...but stains are great for all skin types...they dont come off...ever.. :) even if you sleep in it..!!
smile while ur putting it on. u'll see ur cheek bones properly and apply it in a circular motion....
for a night look to emphasize ur cheeks...in a downward direction (so ur not lifting ur hairs up) starting at the side of ur head ... (cant remember what the area is called...) like the side of ur forehead...and downwards to give u that modelesque look..
also another tip while smiling and applying blush is to apply bronzer in a downward direction in a straight line beneath ur cheek bones to emphasize ur cheek bones giving ur face a slimmer look:)
