How to achieve this look?

Okay, I loveeeeee this look, but can you tell me what I’d need to use/do to get curls like this?

Re: How to achieve this look?

i think using a flat iron and curling away from your face would do.

Re: How to achieve this look?

or those big big giant curlers? teasing too?

Re: How to achieve this look?

yup..teasing for sure.

Re: How to achieve this look?

GHD's. Different plated ones, Probably the bigger plated ones and lots of hairspray.

Re: How to achieve this look?

straightening iron! much hairspray!

Re: How to achieve this look?

if i wash my hair upside down and let them dry on their own i get the same look but then again i have damn curly natural hair!

Re: How to achieve this look?

hmmm thank you for all your suggestions. i'll try ghd curling away from the head and teasing. can anyone recommend any good curlers? i have some carmen girls ones which even though look rubbish, produce amazing curls, but theyre small/tight curls. I wanna get some that make huge curls like the pic above. anyone?

Re: How to achieve this look?

head transplant!!

Re: How to achieve this look?

a good curler is one by enzo milano that you can get from beautychoice.com. A good dupe for it is Leangelique 13-25 mm...you get the same effect, just cheaper.
you can check these out on youtube channel. search for itsjudytime and then look at her video tutorials using those two curlers.
if you order now..beautychoice.com is having 30% off the leAngelique curler until sept 17 i think..i am not sure how to spell it haha

Re: How to achieve this look?

does anyone knw if u can buy Enzo milana from the uk?

Re: How to achieve this look?

^there are lots of fakes on ebay.

Don't think i've seen the real thing anywhere.

Re: How to achieve this look?

Kurri why we cannot see the face in that pic?

Re: How to achieve this look?

Oh wow they look amazing, but I'm having the same problem as CE with it being an american company. The curlers would come to £71, upto £17 P&P and thats excluding any custom chargers. Hmmm...anyone know of the uk equivelent?

FT It's a picture a friend sent to me on MSN because she liked the hair colour, I assumed it was from fb so thought might aswell block the face?

Re: How to achieve this look?

^oh okay ... :)

Re: How to achieve this look?

I'm sure you can just achieve this look with a nozzled hairdryer...but you would need a good technique and patience! Then you can finish the front with large rollers or a big curling iron.

Hi i would say buy some jumbo curling tongs. To be honest i dont think they have to be major expensive i bought mine for like £15 form boots during its half price sale- or try argos. Then curl your hair from the roots and make sure the curl is facing away from your face and then using your fingers kinda loosen them a little so they are more tousled. Obviously use hairspray but not a lot as you want your curls to be soft and not heavy from the hairspray.

Hope that makes sense!! Oh teasing-i think you only need to tease your roots if your hair is very flat if not i dont think you will need to as you are starting your curl very close to the roots.

Re: How to achieve this look?

I think they can be achieved with GHD Salon Stylers (extra wide plates)... simply begin to straighten sections, and as you move down, rotate your wrist outwards to give that large curl. Hairspray in place, et voila :)

Re: How to achieve this look?

I dont understand Maroush :(

how can u achieve this look with flat irons?

Re: How to achieve this look?

When you’re moving down the section of hair, rather than keeping the straightening iron at one straight angle, you rotate it outwards with your wrist whilst you’re sliding down the hair, so as to create that wave in your hair.

Check out the GHD site, it’s full of videos on how to create different styles
