Re: How ''technical'' savy are you?
I was once coming back from Abu Dhabi at 11 PM and all by myself. There was a puncture. I changed the tire by myself. :)
Re: How ''technical'' savy are you?
I think I am pretty handy. I love doing small projects around the house.
Re: How ''technical'' savy are you?
I put my big boy pants on this morning, all by myself.
Re: How ''technical'' savy are you?
I know my way around tools (the other one as well :-) ) (people who are tools)
Re: How ''technical'' savy are you?
Changing a tyre and light bulb are so 20th Century...
Hell I can expertly pack a horse, donkey, camel or mule and comfortably ride the horse and camel no problem... though mules are such asses to work with.
Now as for modern technology a lot of stuff today isn't built to be repaired as such becuase its in fact ussually cheaper to just get new parts or a complete new unit.
I mean even state of the art smart phones and GPS systems... theres three simple steps, software update, upgrade parts i.e batteries or screen or simply get a new one.
Even the humble car is easy these days... back in the 80's we had no trouble changing complete engines and giving the car basic overhauls, but it would cost a lot of time and a heap of tools.... today you can do a basic service with a few tools and give it a years service without too much trouble at all.
Re: How ''technical'' savy are you?
Yes I changed tyre once, when I was in uni used to daily drive from Rawalpindi to Islamabad , so my father made sure I knew everything radiator , water , tyre, everything.
Allhumdullah huby is really handy he can manage all the stuff st home :)
Re: How ''technical'' savy are you?
I'm not handy at all. I leave those kinda things to the hubby.
Re: How ''technical'' savy are you?
I'm not car technically savy but I am savy in other things around the house. I always put together things like new furniture, pedestal fans, if things need to be hung and nailed in etc. :D
Re: How ‘‘technical’’ savy are you?
definitely not car tech savvy but I manage DIY ok enough ..assembling, operating appliances, changing bulbs ![]()
