How successfull you think....

Brett Lee is going to be in the upcoming India series…There is nothing more exciting to see than a fast bowler running in, and bowling hsi heart out…and Lee to me is every bit of that fast bowler.

i WOULDNT ENJOY ANYTHING MORE THAN a fast blower doing well in subcontinent…i wish him very best of luck…but at the same time…i think the Indian players are just too good on their back yard…they will love the extra pace of lee, who is honestly not as good at reverse swing as we all think(even i expected him to be better when i first saw him on his debute, than what he is now)…the reason i am saying that he doesnt have too many matches that he turned around on his own…

But none the less its going to be great contest and one i am looking forward to…but how good u think he is going to be in India.

You know what kind of wickets India prepare if any pace attack is visiting them home. I am not going to bet my life over his performance !

My first question is will he even play any test matches. He would definitly be 4th choice after Macgrath,Kasprowicz and Gillespie.

Ditto. I dont think he is on top of his form anyway. Though I will change the order to Gillespie, Kasprowicz, McGrath and Lee.

I am not sure that Mcgrath will be played ahead of Lee. Mcgrath's performance in the ICC championship was poor. Ask me, I had him in my fantasy team. The only reason why F&B finished ahead of me.

Seriously I think Lee will play ahead of Mcgrath.

If he couldnot do anything in AUS then I dont expect him to do much on Indian wicket.

No way !!!! Atleast not in first test match.
They may change it if Macgrath bowls poorly in first match.

^ Also depends how both of them perform in the first class match starting tomorrow.

With his unimpressive comeback and now spinning tracks on this tour, Mcgrath will have to produce some serious figures in the limited opportunities he's going to be given to remain in contention.

Good to see Kaspers putting in consistent perfromances on his own comeback.

I agree, Lee will probably get the nod, esp if they opt for 2 specialist spinners.

I think McGrath is nearly done. If he did'nt have the big name he probably would'nt be bowling anymore for teh Aussies. It will be interesting to see how the Aussies fast bowlers cope in India. But it will be jsut as interesting to see what happens with Pathan and co bowlign for the Indians. I think the Aussies are much better suited to playing a ball that swings a bit compared to Pakistan. Let's see how many wickets the Indian pacers pick up. My bet is that Harbajan and Kumble have good series.
