my cousin once told me that her islamiat (religions) teacher used to always talk about sax (sex) when she was in grade 6 - all the boyis and garls who have sax do the sin; sax is bade; kids born after sax are not goood...;S
Yeah I remember my school days. Some of our teachers are really bad when it comes to pronouncing words that begin with 'St' like they would say SUTraang instead of strong and SUTreet instead of street
Also they confuse 'support' and 'sport'
They will pronounce sport as s*up*port &
support as sport as in, ' mein ne unnoon sport keeta'
…I had a tutor who used to teach me maths and physics in 10th grade…pata nahin aik dafa unko dorah parh giya:“From naaaw aan…let us taaalk in English…!!”..It was funny as hell…I hated that he used to stare at me while teaching and otherwise…(desi habit..I know I am generalizing:D)…anyway… I started wearing like a big dupatta on my head and almost covering my face…That way also I could laugh all I want to when he was taaalking in English…:D…with Kkaauu(Q)
i had some great literature teachers...whether its urdu or english wow....well i have never encountered that sophistication while studying aboard (except in bizness studies), both in terms of presenting their presence and material they have to present.
so u pplz comments and past experiences are extremly delightful to read.
(but it will b great if you respect them cuz u r connected to them somehow, n they wont b affected instead your mentality is revealed)
