Thank you for the responses. I guess i’ll just have to wait it out. By nature i can get a bit anxious when things dont pick speed. I hate waiting … So that is why i am not feeling so good … other than that … i just really really want things to be good because i am just tired of how things are going … it takes up a lot of energy to hold grudges. i just want a positive response from her. the idea of any thing other than makes my stomach churn.

@hareem …oh no,no ,no .. nobody is racist here … they are all very nice people … just a difficult situation. if they were … there wouldn’t be spouses from 3 different continents in just one family … it has not been easy for them to see their son/brother going off his birth religion .. and then actually being serious about embracing islam to the extent of getting married into it. and i can understand that. but even with all this ongoing conundrum … everybody has been relatively nice .. the parents have been very nice.

awww…you shouldn’t be much worried about your SIL then, I think she’s young and immature and I’m sure she will come to terms with you inshallah.
