The current conflict should be an eye opener to the Arab world. Every Arab country should cut off diplomatic and economic relationship with America and its allies and build powerful military and economic alliance with European Union, Russia, China and India. These three countries are technologically advanced and the Arab world would certainly benefit from these alliances in the long run. Of course, they all should withdraw membership from U.N. too since it has lost its credibility and has become a bogus institution after the invasion of Iraq war.
This is the minimum every Arab country can do. What do others think?
After Palestine, Iraq and Lebanon, the minimum Arabs can do is unite and help one another. Have a government that represents and works for their people. Build a solid defensive and get involve in International politics as solution rather than a problem. How can a country even survive by cutting ties with the United States? In addition, why would India, China and EU will help Middle Eastern government if they do so? Middle East will become another North Korea where people live in abject poverty while the government armed to teeth waiting for an Armageddon. Who is going to live in such place?
Arab leaders have no plan for future. International community do not respect them, even their own people have no hope from them. There is no accountability of any sort and politically they have no platform for their people. I hope they realize this.
watch out for the terrorist label on these countries and then we will be watching them bombed from sidelines just like now. Don't you think? Just a thought, not necessarily to mean support for US/Israel actions.
Arab countries have a helluva lot more problems to contend with then their foreign policies. They have a lot they need to get in order before they think about strategic alliances.
Zabardast's right. The "Arab World" is an oxymoron in itself, given how well these nations get along together. The Arabs should just shut up and silently watch their masters run the show.
Yeah, instead of trying to help their citizens by diversifying their economic base to include something other than oil revenues, they need to divert all of their resources to join the pity parade. Woe are the muslims! Waahh!
