Having an active lifestyle and being a workaholic are different things. Everything has its place in life. Workaholics give everything to work leaving behind their family, friends etc.
If little Harris wanted to miss practice and you didn’t allow him to, you’re a mean dad. 
kids are kids and should be allowed to slack once in a while. They aren’t in the military 
Insan ibadat k liye paida kiya gaya hai. Kaam insan rozi roti k liye krta hai. Kaam bhi aik ibadat hai agar aap us niyat se karein k ghar walon k liye kr rahe hain. To provide for them as is your duty. But ‘kaam’ isn’t the purpose of life and shouldn’t be made so either. Family and relationships should always be a priority, and work, a means of providing a comfortable life for them. But there’s no point of all that money if you don’t have time for family.
Btw, I am talking in general, not about you.
