well, honestly speaking and as someone who has packed tons of stuff for camping and hiking, this is not going to fit in one regular backpack, the 3 gallons of water, 3 days food would take up huge space.
it can all fit in one of the large camping/hiking style backpacks, but if someone things they can use there backpack from school...forget about it
