yes Saraiki shares extensive common vocabulary with Sindhi. Even when Saraiki and Sindhi ladies rebuke their children, they use same words like 'nibagha' :D

Looks like Sindhis are the Swiss people of Pakistan, can easily speak 3 languages at least.

Even Punjabi people can speak three languages.. Punjabi, Urdu and English

Usually, children of immigrants are bilingual... They learn mother tongue at home while English in school...

Various posters are also agreed on trade and business... Trader are requried to learn the language of people to whom they conduct their business... They either learn or hire someone local....

is this Sindhi? some verses seem to be Punjabi, and others are not so easy to gather.

Societal attitude can influence on learning of particular language. For example... English learning craze in Pakistani society... It considered symbol of moderation or modernism... other reason is already written in my post 24...

If China replaces the US as the only super power today, we'd start learning that language.

It is the easiest way to learn new langauge. My Saas can speak 7 languages, I think it depends on how one actually reacts to the new language

They traded with Sumerians as well, now what language did they speak is unknown and also I wonded how did they manage their accounts before some aryan punda came up with decimal system :)

Its Punjabi. The difficulty is due to use of Persian words and naara in between . Otherwise Its in very simple Punajbi

ok…my in laws know Sindhi, Punjabi, Balochi, Urdu, English, add Potohari and Seraiki …:smack2: I think its only pashto they cant understand.

Too difficult to manage but counting in 16 like 16anna=1 Re and making bricks in ratio was also part of their mathematical genius :)

Is her and your mother tongue same? if not, get her with me in online company once and she will never learn her saas tongue :D

I can;t even suggest you to ask her watch KTN or other Sindhi channels. They are destroying language with oot patang words.

If by mother tongue, you mean her mother's tongue...then thats balochi... :D

I think you are in disadvantage if you didn't learn Kashmiri as your saas might know Punjabi and she can do your burai in Kashmiri with her son :p

Get her with me, it should be grander revolt of Bahu's against Saas Tongue, With little too much drama we can beat Ekta Kapoor easily :)
